Cochise is the name of the little Indian horse. I named him this from the show Bonanza it was filmed in 1959, an old western. The actor Michael Landon played Little Joe and he rode a black and white paint horse named Cochise. Cochise is Indian and means "having the quality or strength of an oak." Cochise was also the name of a famous indian cheif.
Cochise is a recuse horse I adopted on January 3rd, 2020. He is a two year old stallion, he has never been handled in his whole life. He came off the Indian reservation. With no handling he will only let you get so close, we had to push him into a trailer and just let him out into a corral on my property. My goals for him is to start trusting me, which he has came a long ways already. He was terrifed of me and his water bucket and now he is willing to let me come up to him and explore new things! Keep watch for updates on this horse.
