Shed Hunting Surprise

March 15, 2020 is a date I will never forget. A Sunday afternoon my boyfriend and I went for a ride to go shed hunting. Up by Tabiona is where we went. It is beautiful, mountains all around and some still with snow. The sky is partly cloudy with the sun peaking through. The horses were fresh and eager to go!

We took the horses through the trees and up the hills. We came to a stop and a huge elk with antlers still on came crashing through the trees and spooked the horses! We got them calmed back down and started back up the hill and we found a huge elk antler.,

Then we came to a spot on the mountain where the sky opened up, and the sun shined through. I’m standing holding the horses and I turn around and Kacy is asking me to marry him!!!! A beautiful ring shines in the sun and I can’t help but be overwhelmed with happiness and I say yes and hug him and start to cry!

Was the perfect end to our ride! Was the most perfect day, I wish I could replay it over and over again. It will be a memory to treasure forever.
